I think I have taken for granted that every body knows the answer. I wanted to make a few comments that would help with the answering.

The geographic area a plant grows and flowers in has a lot to do with what it will offer as a flower essence. Along with climate, the background energy of an area heavily influences the plants. The human population does it’s share to influence plants. We know that population density can overwhelm an area. The actions of people over time leave long term effects on the land, water, air and energy frequency. The plant kingdom suffers disease, mutation and weaker life force as a result.

Kauai is one of the northern islands of Hawaii, 2500 miles from the nearest land mass. The population is relatively small and the plant kingdom thrives. The climate ranges from desert to the dampest place on earth, with summer almost all year. It does not suffer from the negative energetic influences of billions of people in America, the East or Europe.

Kauai is called the Garden Island. Plants grow well in the 4 million year old soil. The island has been connected with Lemuria as the northern most point of the sunken continent. This ancient quality of energy is felt by visitors to the island as well as the plant kingdom on Kauai. That refined, natural, supportive, nurturing energy is the background energy that the plants and flowers grow in here.

A flower essence is created to actualize a transfer of the plant and flower’s energy signature and frequency into water. That signature is presented in full glory, not suffering the negative influences of population density. The steady gently rains, mixed with sun shine provide a perfect environment so the plants are not stressed.

These are some starting points for a discussion about the relative value of flower essences from different locations. I present the position of a producer of flower essences on Kauai. I recognize, as an essence practitioner, that flower essences from stressed areas and climates are also wonderful. I observe that each of us is uniquely designed and each of us have unique upbringings. I use flower essences produced by others from as many unique areas as I reasonably can so I can best treat the patterns and results of our upbringing and uniqueness.

I believe that Kauai flower essences should be among the ones a person tries.

After many years of producing flower essences and doing essence readings, it seems a bit clearer as to why I’m doing it at all.   I am impacting others in a positive way.   Also, when I am with someone in a reading, it is a time when I am clear of my personal mind burden, and I get to meet the person at the highest level we are both capable of.   From my perspective, I am helping the person clear the persistent patterns of dysfunctional behavior that interfere with the experience of their real self.   That process may take a life time.   The programing we are all subject to from birth to the moment you are reading these words is overwhelming.   So much so that we feel lost, afraid and fearful from our hypnotized condition.   Flower essences do the final healing after the understanding has happened in the mind, but the cells and energy field are still stuck from the years of programing and reinforcement.   Then there can be a more complete release of the old.     That leads to the awakening to reality.  What is. . . . . At this point in this experience I call my life, it seems that is why I do what I do.

Oh boy.  Here I go again.  I heard that awful song on the radio again and I could not let it be.  God is watching you from a distance, the song goes.  That may be the most powerful idea, . . .  for the dark side.  What can I say?   The idea that I am separate and apart from God and he or she is watching me from a distance is the problem.

I confess.  I am that one of which you speak.  I am as much God as any one else.  The idea that I am less than that or other than that is the problem.  There is no apart.  There is only the mind and its refusal to let go and allow.  And it cries and sings, God is watching you.  Diry little trick it is.  Pretending to be so nice nice.  This is the core of the problem, and it is like a virus invading everything.  Pretending to be God like, Christian, holy or whatever.  It is all the world of the mind.

Making this years Dandelion mother tincture was a lesson in perfection.  I have been thinking about remaking this essence for over a year.  Yesterday, I drove to Kokee to check on a massive pasture of Dandelions that grows near the top of the mountain.  As I arrived, I was stunned to see a mower going back and forth through the meadow.  Without thinking, I grabbed my bowl and started picking.  80 or 90 flower heads later, I added water and placed the bowl on a large rock, which was near the entrance.

My connection with the energy of the Dandelion was different from the last time we met.  This time, I was primarily aware that it was all Consciousness.  Consciousness gathering and speaking to the flower and Consciousness as the Dandelion Deva.  No difference.

I left the meadow and the guy on the mower drove by and waved.  Not just any look and wave.  This was a look that I imagine came from the Shaman.  A look at the essence of it all through the eyes of the mower man.  The bowl was left on the rock, in the sun, under the protection of  mower man.

My friend, Ken Stokes, and I drove to the end of the road at 10 mile camp and headed off for a hike.  Flowers, mosses, Redwood branches, cliffs dropping thousands of feet below.  Hours later the mist settled in.  A gentle mist that covered the rain forest, heading towards the swamp.  That kind of rain is a blessing rain in Hawaii.  We headed back down to see what fate had befallen the bowl full of Dandelions.

There it was.  Sparkling magically.  The meadow was a grass field.  Two men were setting up a tent.  After a few questions, they answered that they thought the bowl was a gift to the gods, so they didn’t go near it.  That sounds good to me.

No stress in this job.  Dandelion essence is a relief of mental stress and muscle tension from too much mental stress.  Maybe you like try?

What a word, too.  I have been hearing it lately, and it sounds like a word that could be cut out of our language.  It is just ‘too’ much.  I have ‘too’ little.  That is ‘too’ many for me.

This word ‘too’ comes from the part of us that analyzes everything and decides what and how much is right for us.  It comes from the mind.  From the seemingly separate thinker that has an opinion on everything.  Those opinions are born from fear.  From childhood responses that form who we think we are.

One antidote is to consider whether our present reality is just right as it is.   Not ‘too’ much or not ‘too’ little.  Just right.  I mean the whole thing.  Even the part that seems “too’ much.  Is it really ‘too’ much?  Could it be the only way it could be.

I am seeing  lots of people with low energy and some are getting very depressed.  An answer may be Pineapple flower essence.  The essence clears and amplifies the bodies energies.  Sort of an energetic mutli-vitamin.

The other exciting side of the flower essence is really worth your consideration.  The top of the Pineapple is first the flower, then the fruit and lastly, the discarded top of the fruit.  It is after the top is cut that the story of this essence is revealed.  Many months later, after the top is browned out, take a look at it.  The bottom brown leaves will be hugging the stock.  Underneath each of them is roots that have grown with the last life force of the plant.  Even when it appeared that the Pineapple top was doomed, it carried on growing roots, just in case another opportunity for life presented itself to respond to(earth and water).

The mind tends to be very confused about right action.  Growing your roots, in preparation for potential ahead, is right action.  If there are no roots when the dirt is found, there is no way to respond to what is presented.  So, you might want to experiment with Pineapple flower essence if it fits.

Chris and I are just back from a great May bike tour with VBT 3 hours north of Rome.  We averaged 30 miles per day through country roads and along the coast.  The outrageous part was the wild flowers.  The main character in the landscape was the red poppy.  I have loved the California poppy, but this dark red beauty was just so striking.  I didn’t do any biking before the trip, so I ended up walking my bike up a lot of hills.  That allowed me to really get into the smells and feel of the wild flowers that abounded.  There were purple thistles, yellow daisy like flowers, violet little tender things that looked like buttercups and white false carrots.  The color mix was spectacular.  All of these were the accents to the red poppies.  I was a visitor in a landscape that was just beautiful.

I love this kind of traveling out in nature, mixed with a little red wine, olive oil and great company.  By the way, I highly recommend Vermont Bike Tours to anyone.
