It is in the garden

This subject is one of my favorite.  The garden.  I have developed my gardening awareness here in Kauai.  20 years ago I started a garden in a raised bed, rock bordered, square  shape.  Eventually, my love of the circle motivated me to reconstruct the space with 2 circular garden plots, within each other.  Years passed, load after load of my own processed compost was added, and generations of “volunteers” have created a spontaneously  regenerating space.   The mix of flowers, herbs and vegetables is more determined by nature than me.  It truly is beautiful.

The energy in the garden has matured and enlivened to the point that I am occasionally making flower essences in the center of the garden, rather than in the circle I normally use.   The energy is palpable.

I am using the garden as my dining room more and more.  I have an abundance of lettuce, chard, kale, tomatoes and assorted herbs that I nibble and graze on.  They can make a whole meal, mixing and weaving between one taste to another.  I move from plant to plant, choosing by color, choosing by taste and choosing by intuition in general.  Anastasia, the hero in the Russian Ringing Cedars Press series, has reawakened this practice in her books.  The essence of that message is that the consciousness of the plants is prepared to work with us for our health and nutrition on levels that we have forgotten.  This fits right in with my flower essence work and is really just another logical extension of it.

Of course, the freshness of just cut plants fades in seconds, minutes, hours and days.  By eating the leaves when you pick them, you are taking in the life force of the plant at its most potent point.  There is no better way to convert the energy of the plant kingdom for our enlivenment.  I’m enjoying this experiment, and I will probably be motivated to write on this subject again soon.

ESSENCE READINGS

Picking the correct flower essence is like picking the right homeopathic medicine. If you hit it on the mark, you may get a powerful healing effect. If not, it won’t hurt you. I have worked with thousands of people choosing the right essences for them. It is the direct way to find out whether flower essences can work for you. Get the right essences to work with first. If you want to pursue this with me, contact me and we will set up a time to talk by phone, or video Skype, if you have it.

Practitioners Welcome

Hello out there.  I am open to engaging with other flower essence practitioners through this blog.  Maybe that is silly, but we will see.  My thoughts are that there are so many variations on the way people work with flower essences.  So many guidance techniques.  They all are probably useful, and i would love to learn more about what others are doing.  I use an intuitive process tailored to pick out the essences that help remove the contractions and blockages that prevent our awareness of our inherent divinity.  The essences that come up work on methodically eliminating the layers of the onion.  Our elaborate attempt to stay asleep to who or what we are is stirred by the essences.

I use over 20 different flower essence systems.  I owe it to truth, as it shows itself to me, to list my top favorites:  Earthlove Essences, Ursula Selwood, Ireland, Living Essences of Australia, Harebell Essences from Scotland,  Findhorn Essences, Scotland and The South African Essences, Jannet Unite.  Close behind would be Bush Essences of Australia and The Alaskan Essences.  On another level are Eric Pelham’s Butterfly Essences.

Curiously, some essence company’s bottles seem to have helpful energy at one point and then not again.  I assume that is the effect of time.  But, sometimes a whole system will suddenly come up for lots of people when it hadn’t seemed to come up since I first obtained them.  I wonder about that.  Is it that the producers energy shifts and that is felt across the world?

The Begining

This is my first blog, my first comment in a blog and I feel a lot of resistance to writing this. I am here, having a life. Things continue to happen. The noise from the rustling palm fronds hiss in the auditory field. The glow of it all shines within and with out me. I am thankful for life. And what a life it has been. One begun in deep conditioning that has taken a life time to unravel. I owe much of the thanks to Nature and the essences. They have been working on me for so long. It is mainly because I see so many other people’s lives quickened as well from the flower essences, that I am going to do some more writing about flower essences and their role in dissolving the false self. That assumes a True Self. I do indeed.

Hello world!

This is the first entry on what I think will be a very helpful way to communicate on issues that are of interest to users of the Starmen site.
